Basic cover and Statutory Liability

*excess is deductible in the event of damage to the vehicle

If the JUCY CDW excess reduction option has not been selected, customers are required to leave a bond of CAD$1,500 at time of pick-up. If the CDW has been selected, a bond of CAD$500 will apply. A pre-authorisation for the chosen option will be placed against the customer credit card.

For security reasons, only a credit card can be used to provide a bond. The credit card holder must be present and able to sign for the bond at time of pick-up. If the vehicle is returned damaged, the bond will be held and used to cover the cost of the damage up to the amount of relevant liability. If the terms of the Rental Contract are breached, and the bond is insufficient to cover the damage, any extra cost will be charged to the customer.

Basic Vehicle Cover and Statutory Liability

A basic campervan coverage included in the cost of the rental. The excess / deductible is US$1,500. Basic statutory limits for liability and property damage is included in the nightly rate. These are very low and we recommend taking out the SLI cover to protect you against 3rd party claims.

We are happy for our customers to roam far and wide in our JUCY RV’s, but we do have some restrictions around where customers can’t travel. A no-go zone is Mexico. Also, customers cannot visit the US’s hottest, lowest, driest point – Death Valley from 15th July – 15th September.

For travels to Alaska, the Yukon, or North-West Territories in Canada a fee of CAD$500 applies.

Burning Man Festival travellers will incur a CAD$700 supplement. Additional cleaning fees may be charged upon drop-off if excess dust remains.
